Claire Engelsma—Over 20 years of agency experience

As the founder of EQ Healthcare, Claire Engelsma focuses on international qualitative research. Ms. Engelsma has been immersed in agency-side research for the healthcare industry for over 20 years.

Claire began her career in 1989 with the Communications Research Division of Martin Hamblin (now GfK). She then joined TNS in 1991 where she was responsible for pre- and post-launch syndicated advertising tracking services before moving into custom UK domestic. Claire then gravitated towards international qualitative research and joined the Specialist Qualitative Unit in 1994 which became her long-standing focus and passion. Claire was appointed Board Director within TNS Healthcare International in 1999 and led the Specialist Qualitative Unit from 2003. In 2002-2003, Claire was also responsible for TNS Healthcare's satellite office in Princeton, New Jersey and was resident in the USA during this time.

During her 14 years with TNS, Claire designed and delivered qualitative training to Industry and Agency and regularly engaged her skills as a moderator and facilitator, having moderated literally hundreds of IDIs and focus groups in the UK and North America. Now based in the UK, Claire founded EQ Healthcare in May 2005 and has since worked with a variety of clients in the healthcare industry (pharmaceutical and medical technology). Claire holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Psychology from Southampton University (UK).

Anne Loiselle—Over 20 years of industry experience
Full Partner and Executive Director

Through a rich and diverse career spanning over 20 years in market research, Anne Loiselle has gained extensive experience in and understanding of North American, EMEA, BRIC and Latin American healthcare markets.

Ms. Loiselle began her career in 1987 when she joined L'Oréal in R&D, product management and market research. In 1996 she moved to Abbott Laboratories where she was appointed in 1999 as the Head of International Market Research in Pharma and Nutrition at the worldwide headquarters in Chicago. For over 12 years, Anne had responsibilities for primary and secondary market research, forecasting, strategic planning, continuing health education and communication at Abbott Laboratories.

Anne is a trained meeting facilitator and adept at presentation storylining. A lecturer on pharmaceutical market research at the Hautes Études Commerciales School in Montreal, Canada, Anne is also a former President of EphMRA (European Pharmaceutical Market Research Association) 2006-2007 and Board Director from 2003 to 2008 Anne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from King's College London as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Laval University in Quebec City. A Canadian National based in Montreal, Anne has lived and worked in the USA, in France, Italy and the UK.
